Management Consultant Manager
Public accounting firm is seeking a Management Consulting Manager. We are a firm that offers a full range of accounting, tax and consulting services to clients based throughout the US. Our firm serves dynamic, privately help companies and their owners; and the investment industry, including public and private funds. We are recognized as one of the top accounting firms in the country. Our Management Advisory Services Division focuses on Management Consulting, Business Valuation, M&A Advisory, and Transaction Services. Our Management Consulting Practice collaborates with business owners and company leadership to optimize the performance of the enterprise. We help our clients develop thoughtful plans and the work with their team to deliver on the objectives. Rather than a one-off project, we view consulting as a long-term relationship to help our clients be successful.
Looking for previous experience in the following areas:

Project management tools and methodologies

Storyboarding and presentations

Process mapping & optimization

Data Analysis, business cases, and modeling in Excel
Looking for someone who has the ability to:

Lead small teams and/or own a project workstream

Drive discovery & analysis activities with client contacts

Manage the development of client-ready deliverables

Deliver presentations to internal & external stakeholders & clients

Work comfortably and independently in an ambiguous environment

Use a structured approach to identify problems and develop actionable solutions
Requirements are:
-
Candidate needs to come from Big 4 accounting firm or big, global consulting firm

Minimum 4 years management consulting experience, but we are open to a variety of backgrounds before that point (sales, public accounting, supply chain, human resources, information technology, etc.)

Ideal candidate graduated college and went directly into management consulting, but still needs a minimum of 4 years management consulting experience currently at the manager level

Cleveland is ideal location, but Pittsburgh, Detroit & Chicago are other alternatives, but most of the team is in Cleveland

One of the big perks to this position compared to working for a Big 4firm would be the travel schedule would be significantly reduced to only 20% overnight travel

Comfortable leading projects independently, leading workstreams on larger projects and be comfortable leading a team.

Bachelor’s degree required, MBA is preferred

Majored in Business, Finance, Marketing, Technology, Engineering, but open to other majors as well
-
Preferred Project Management or Agile certification (e.g. PMP,CAPM,ACP,CSM,CSP,etc.)
